The Rebellion Begins, by Michael Kogge, is the novelization of the first episode of Star Wars: Rebels. It dives into the motivations and thoughts of the crew of the starship Ghost. Ezra has always taken care of himself and has stolen what he can to survive. When one of his heists go wrong, he is pitted together with a team of rebels on the starship Ghost. The rebels are on a mission to rescue Wookiees from prison. Ezra must now choose between joining the rebels on their quest or returning to his simple life in Lothal.
