Bloodline Bandra is about David Cabral, an east Indian journalist, his journey to USA and back to India. The book is divided into three parts. The first one starts off with David Cabral, an inmate of the Pali village near Bandra in Bombay where the inhabitants are East Indians calling themselves as descendants from the English. It describes the origin of the Pali villagers till the independence of India, its traditional life and language spoken. Later, David gets an opportunity to go to US and work there. The rest two parts contains the life and future of David in US. It uncovers the myths of living abroad and the pain of leaving behind our homeland and our bloodline.
