How do you borrow books from Bookelphia?

1. Order Books :

a. Register if you are not already a member yet

One time registration fee ₹ 699/-

Deposit = Trust + Respect, that’s how we roll!

b. Browse through our collection of books (we have a huge collection of genres and languages). You can also search for the books you want to read.

Search by title/ author/ genre.

c. Add books to the Cart.

Up to 3 books per order.

“I want more!” No worries, add to the Reading Queue and order when you return.

d. Choose the address where you want them delivered.

You can save multiple address.

e. Make payment. That’s it. Your order is placed!

Pay per read model – exact charge is mentioned on each book page on website (includes pickup - delivery)

2. Delivery :

a. Once we receive your order, we will arrange for the books.

Typically, we take 2 to 4 days to deliver.

In rare case of unavailability, we will update you asap.

b. We will then deliver the books to you, at your chosen address, at your preferred time. Enjoy!

3. Returning the book :

a. After completing the book, request it's return pickup from the current read section of your account.

Borrowing period – 4 weeks. We’ll notify you a week before this.

Need more time? Extend for another 2 weeks at 25% of book charge.

(Any further extension to be treated as new order.)

b. Our team member will pick it up from your chosen address, at your preferred time.
c. Now go ahead, write a review for the book for your fellow readers!

Also, rate the book on a scale of 1 to 5.

5 being the highest.

4. Repeat!

How do you earn free reads from Bookelphia?

1. Share your books by adding them to the Bookshelf in your account.

Too many books to share? Worry not! Write to us, we’re here to help.

2. Knock, knock! Your book is wanted! We’ll get in touch with you when a member wants to read your book.

We will pick up the book from your chosen address, at your preferred time.

3. Congratulations, you have just earned a credit point which will contribute to a free read!

With every 3 credit points you get one free read for a book charge up to ₹ 100/-

4. We will bring your book back to you as soon as it comes back to us.

5. Is my book safe?

100% safe. Bookelphia is a network of passionate booklovers. As such, every member reveres books.

We also take full responsibility of the shared books. In the rare case of damage, we will replace it with a new copy.
