This novel is a love story influenced by the Sikh riots of Sun 1984. This story is the story of a Sikh family of Naik Rishi being a rioter by saving him from riots. It is a story of the triumph of human values at inhuman values. It is also a story of survival of love in stretching conditions. It is also the agony of the city which has a chest pain of displacement due to riots.
