A filmy murder mystery

'Club you to death' is a murder mystery by Anuja Chauhan. Based in the fictional Delhi Turf Club, the sudden death of a gym trainer unfolds an investigation on its members opening up secrets about their personal lives in the process. The narrative moves from the point of view of the investigating officer ACP Bhavani Singh for the most part, but switches to the accused members during the investigation as well. The story also shows high society and the hypocrisies that come with the same. The author uses flashbacks as well as inner dialogue many a times to explain the current behaviour of the characters making it a compelling read. All in all, a pacey and engaging read with a great deal of suspense.
