The sequel to the popular Dewey Andreas series book 'Power Down', it continues with another story featuring the protagonist. Having fought against powerful entities in the past, Andreas has secretively moved out of his country, in order to live a life of serenity. However, his peace is short-lived as his enemies, always on the loose, track him down in rural Australia. At the same time, a new president elected in Pakistan is hell bent on initiating nuclear warfare with India. The U.S. President appoints Jessica Tanzer in charge of diffusing this tension which will impact the world as a whole. Tanzer resorts to planning a coup d'etat and needs the mastermind and agile Andreas to execute this crucial overthrow of the Pakistani president. It however requires freeing Andreas from the grip of his enemies back in Australia. 'Coup d'Etat' is an enjoyable read for a lover of political and spy thrillers.
