Games of the Hangman

Having served as a war soldier for his homeland, Hugo Fitzduane resorts to the life of a war photographer. When one day he stumbles across the dead body of Graffenlaub, a Swiss student, on his very estate, Hugo is perplexed. What is deemed as a suicide, Hugo considers to be something more sinister. The tattoo on the wrist of the body strikes him as same as on two terrorists that his Irish Rangers commander, Kilmara had eliminated. Following this lead with the commander's help, Fitzduane slowly gets involved with the Swiss police in Bern as more such killings unfold. Mystery and deaths encompass the narration and soon, Hugo himself is being followed by the suspicious Raufman assigned on duty by the police. With gory twists and turns, Hugo and Raufman witness the unraveling of a lethally veiled series of events on both Swiss and Irish lands, and batte a trained army of terrorists to protect their nations. O'Reilly intricately pens the characters of the two patriotic protagonists of the story and builds a majestic terror mystery. Aptly termed as a 'page-turner', 'Games of the Hangman' is the author's first piece in the series and keeps readers on their toes with its thrilling plot and writing.
