This is the story of Miles Halter, a smart teen who has a great fascination with famous last words. He goes to the boarding school and befriends his roommate, nicknamed The Colonel, Takumi, a rap-loving Japanese boy, and Alaska, a smart and gorgeous girl. Their journey begins together at boarding school. They are fun and do some extremely crazy things together and all the while Miles is falling in love with Alaska. The author John Green takes the readers on a ride showing the generation of today. This book contains the teenage language and humor along with their dark and depressed overtone.
