This is the English translation of the Spanish novel El Amor en Los Tiempos del Colera by the noble-prize winning author Gabriel Garcia Marquez. The plot of the novel revolves around the life of young Fermina and the two men who come in her life one after the other. The young Fermina is forced to leave her boyfriend and marry a more settled physician whom she later falls in love with while her boyfriend stays unmarried for years, waiting for her. The narration brings out many touching moments showing how Fermina manages her emotions and internal conflicts while always remaining loyal to her not-so-loyal partners.
