Rosha - A rose that blossomed over a thousand thorns

A royal from Afghanistan is assassinated within the boundaries of his own home and is survived by a fourteen year old daughter. Rosha barely gets time to shake off her shock and the horror of her father's cruel death when she is faced by another life alteration. Young, innocent and orphaned in a country with dangerous happenings, Rosha is forced into slavery. After a forced marriage to a man more than thrice her tender age, Rosha is dragged to Saudi Arabia. Her life changes from that of an adored child to that of an objectified figure in an old man's harem, in an alien land. However, even in the face of such perils, Rosha finds the heart to not quit. Her quest for knowledge is not hindered by the tragedies of her life. This is a heart-rending story of the struggle of a girl against all odds to conquer her fears and fulfill her dreams. When despite all hardships and a haunting past, Rosha feels the desire to return to her homeland, there arises an example of courage and life. As the name suggests, the readers are taken into the life of Rosha and shown how unending bravery and spirit can evolve a person through a hundred sorrows.
