In this book by Patrick Lencioni, he proposes a model in order to deal with dysfunctional teams through a real life fable. A distressed start-up has just hired a new CEO, an older woman with operational experience in companies and she has to deal with a dysfunctional executive team including some harsh workers. This team slowly works towards making the team better. These principles model consists of a pyramid with the five dysfunctions of a team. A further analysis and suggestions on implementation are succinctly presented in later part of the book. This book is helpful to anyone who serves on a team getting at the roots of team failure. An easy and energizing read on team building.
