The Little Tern

The little tern is the story of a little bird who suddenly cannot fly. He does not have any physical injury. His friends leave him and he is forced to live on the beach. Depressed, he makes new friends like a crab, a flower on the shore. He starts to enjoy with them and begins to notice small details that had previously escaped him. As seasons pass, he discovers a secret that enriches his life through his newly found friends which he never noticed when he flew. He learns to make the very best of things as he finds them, but will all this help him to fly? Filled with beautiful watercolor illustrations, this picture book is a philosophical tale of a little bird about the real purpose in life. Read it for a short, mystical and inspiring tale.
