First published in 1905, this is a collection of 13 Sherlock Holmes stories written during 1903-04. This was the first publication following the 'death' of the famous detective in The Final Problem and the subsequent public clamour for him to be revived [The Hounds of Baskerville was published in-between but it pertained to a period before The Final Problem.]
