Those Were The Days by Subhasis Ghosal is the story of three teenagers. All of them are in 12th standard with their board exams coming soon. This book depicts their vivid emotions which goes through various ups and downs during a brief period of few months. The three of them are good friends, easy-go-lucky type. They are not much bothered about their future with none having any serious career goals. They lie to their parents frequently. They drink and smoke, suffer major heart breaks, cheat in exams and somehow manage to get through their board exams. Although they are not the serious perfect types, some amount of innocence of childhood still lies in them, which is well portayed. It is a quick and breezy read in easy english.
